480 King Street Post Tension Repairs

This project included the repairs and alterations of a six-story existing hotel to suit the new hotel design. The ground floor post-tension slab required numerous post tension cable repairs, in the range of 10 percent of the cables found required repair. TBA also provided review of the slab edge anchorage condition including repairs and waterproofing around the whole perimeter of the building to provide protection from the elements.

Repairs were also performed on cracked and failed concrete piers at the main roof steel supports on the upper level. These were repaired in place or replaced with new concrete while the main roof framing was temporarily supported.
