1701 Duke Street - New Building
This project involved a new 120,000 square foot office building structure in the historic area of Alexandria, Virginia. Office floors feature long span 40 to 46-foot column free spans. Below grade there are several garage levels with room for 200 cars. The roof structure has a green roof system along with a roof terrace for the tenants.
This below grade structure is a conventionally reinforced concrete structure and the above grade system is a composite deck with structural steel beams.
Our office provided a full scope of services on this project including feasibility studies, full building structural design, shop drawing review and on-site observations.
